Manx
Character: friendly, intelligent, easy to train. Home-loving, but also a good hunter, with quick reflexes. Known for its longevity.
My Views: Well, I will agree that there are some traits of Manx's that are unusual. Like her hair. It's pretty, but it's different. And she's the only person I've seen who insists on wearing socks with her business outfit. Manx as a whole simply stands out. And Manx must have been intelligent and 'easy to train' if Persia took her as his secretary. ^-^
Persian
Character: affectionate and prefers life indoors, but is lively for a Persian and an able mouser.
My Views: Another odd codename, although somehow I can see a few similarities. One thing is that the Persian is an able mouser. Well, Persia doesn't actually hunt down the evil himself, but he does take notice of it and knows what to do. Not to mention, nearly everyone knows a Persian cat when they see one.
Birman
Character: affectionate, gentle and even-tempered, but less placid than Persians. Suited to outdoor life, but also enjoys some space indoors.
My Views: Well, I wouldn't call Birman a near deity, but the cat's expression greatly resembles her own, especially when she's thinking. The cat's fairly placid temperament very much matches Birman's own. ^_^
Abyssinian
Character: affectionate, gentle, quiet-voiced, but also highly active and intelligent. Can be taught tricks. Very agile and likes plenty of space.
My Views: I must say the coloring of this particular breed matches very much with Aya's own. Judging from the personality of this cat, I think it symbolizes the person he left behind when joining Weiss. It is noted that if you mistreat this particular breed, they will become sullen, and isolate themselves, even to the extent of abandoning their home. Abyssinians also have a tendency to attach themselves to one member of the family in particular.
Bombay
Character: extremely companionable and affectionate, placid and not very active. Dislikes loud noises and prefers life indoors.
My Views: Well, Omi sure is companionable and friendly enough, but sedate? Somehow that doesn't fit, although it is quite apparent that Omi can get very emotional if under lots of stress, and does not seem to like being left alone. Very true about Omi too, ne?
Balinese
Character: affectionate and demanding of affection, yet retaining the aloofness of its Siamese ancestors. Very athletic, enjoys climbing and jumping.
My Views: Heehee! Out of all the codenames, Yohji's codename is the best suited to him. Like the Balinese cat, he is affectionate yet aloof at the same time, and all that work as an assassin fits in with the 'climbing and jumping' part. Not to mention, the cat's slender, lithe body is right on par with Yohji's. Pretty nifty…
Siberian
I'm looking around for a good site on Siberians. The book I based these from didn't have it. Please be patient! ^^; |
