Neu, or Noi (as on my fansubs) has one of the most interesting pasts of this group. She was at one point in her life, known as Asuka, Yohji's detective partner who was shot and presumably killed during one of their escapades. Unfortunately for Yohji, she has no memory of that time. Noi seems to fear bright places and constantly hides under masks and shades. Her fighting style is very unique, she has no special tricks or weapons, but her bare hands. Her demeanor as a whole is very quiet, and it may also be noted that her name, whatever way you spell it, carries a meaning. Neu means 'New' in German, and Noi means 'black' in French.
