No anime would be complete with your self-assured, easy-going playboy, and Yohji Kudou certainly fits the bill. At surface level, he seems no better than a flake, with all the women surrounding him. He dishes out his charm on the women (no one under 18 please!) in bucket loads.

But as time goes on, you see a different side to him.

Enter Asuka. She was his detective partner before he joined up with Weiss. He loved her beyond one would think was humanly possible. When she was taken from him while they were working on a detective mission, she pretty much took Yohji's heart with her. She is the reason as to why he joined Weiss. To protect other women from suffering the same fate as Asuka. As he so bluntly put it: 'Any enemy of woman is an enemy of mine.'

Though he is not my favorite character, I have this to say for him. Who on earth wouldn't want a boyfriend like that?
